John Lemon, Milton and John Tootle 

In 1877, the George Buell joins with John S. Lemon, who had acquired a small mill in Kansas.  

After the death of prominent businessman Milton Tootle, Lemon oversaw the education of Milton Tootle, Jr. and John Tootle.

Milton and John eventually became Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurers of the Buell Woolen Mills and ran the Tootle Manufacturing Company.
